Skoda, the biggest Czech car manufacturer, decided to make their promo campaign more memorable and much more emotional. After all, in the age of the experiential economy, companies sell awesome memories and bright emotions apart from products. That is why we built two apps for Skoda: an augmented reality application with a 3D model of a bear and a virtual reality application for a virtual test drive.

Virtual reality app and an augmented reality app were created for the promo campaign of Skoda dedicated to the release of the new car model - Skoda Kodiaq. VR app allowed users to take a test drive in a virtual car. With the help of AR app, customers could have gaming experience and take a photo with a kodiak bear for social media.

Innovative Solutions

Gamification of users' experience was the main feature of this promotional campaign: attendees could forget that they were adults for some time and fish salmon in a virtual river or take selfies with the bear. They could take a car for a virtual test drive and ride as fast as they wanted!

VR test drive had simple and concise design, and clients could navigate it using their intuition only.

Car show attendees took photos with the bear in AR and shared them on social networks.

This app helped to hook customers emotionally creating positive associations between a new model of the car and AR experience with the bear.
